The ideal candidate will know how to push visual boundaries without sacrificing clarity of message in communication mediums such as presentations. This individual will be responsible for supporting our business development and marketing efforts by collaborating closely with those respective teams, while sitting on our multidisciplinary Design team.

This role will ideally be based in the Chicagoland area, but we are open to remote locations across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality sales enablement materials, including:
  • Presentations for proposals, pitches, and case studies
  • Research reports, ensuring they are both informative and visually compelling
  • Brochures and other related collateral
• Create engaging social media assets along with templates that align with our brand identity and marketing goals
• Design and manage effective templates for PowerPoint, Word, emails, and newsletters that consider visual appeal and ease of use
• Create landing page designs, website and blog assets to support marketing campaigns and events
• Provide design support for One North events, including invitations, registration sites, event app assets, promo imagery and video, signage and staging, swag, name badges, presentation support, executive summary docs, etc.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts for websites, webinars, internal and external campaigns, and events and tradeshows
• Maintain brand consistency across all collateral and platforms
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output

Skills & Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in a similar role within an agency or in-house design/brand team
• Highly skilled in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote)
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of visual communications work, demonstrating:
  • Brand expression: Ability to translate and apply direction from a documented visual identity (brand guidelines) across diverse content types and media platforms
  • Information graphics and reports: Ability to synthesize and visualize ideas, concepts, and business offerings into a compelling presentation, critically considering how type hierarchy, white space, copy lengths, contrast and color application can enable and accelerate audience comprehension. Examples of grid systems, a plus
• Skilled in creating and modifying templates in PowerPoint and Keynote
• A strong sense of good storytelling
• Motion skills are a bonus, but not required
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for creativity and innovation

We reserve the right to pay above or below the base salary range of $69,800-$104,800 based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.

Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, commissions, profit sharing, etc.
